Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
I'm using Directions semi permanent hair dye in this picture as to most of my pictures since it's the cheapest dye available in my local store :'I
How does this hair colour make you feel?
Of course it does! Ever since I did split dye, my confidence has gone through the roof! I feel like I'm the coolest, most badass person everywhere I go! ;D
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
It used to be my natural color which was light brown.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
At the moment it is Lunar Tides. Even though I've never tried their dyes, I absolutely love their photography and product marketing.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Yes! When bleaching your roots for applying colors like red, it's enough to use low volume developer and not leave the bleach on for a very long time. It's just until a blonde-ish color has appeared because the dye is going to cover it up. This ensures that the quality of your hair will stay great and soft!:)
