Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
Elgon 6/55. It's an bright red color. I wanted to have a color that would stand out, but not too much like a blue or purple.
How does this hair colour make you feel?
Yes. I really love being a redhead. I get a lot of compliments and who doesn't love compliments right?! I feel really confident and special.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
I had a grown out blonde balayage with really dark roots.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
I love elgon and directions. I love elgon because it's a beautiful permanent red color and I love directions because the colors are very bright but they are semi permanent.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Start with the ends and then color the roots if it's all one color. The roots will develop faster on the roots because of the heat that comes from your head. If your ends are bleached and the roots are dark, then start with the roots because the bleached part will get colored way faster than your roots.
