Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
Goldwell a friend of mine is a very good hairdresser that made my hair like this insanely nice collor . And this brand does not damage your hair as much as other brands

How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
My hair was fading red with a lot of differend shades of red . With some outgrow

Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Go for pruducts that does not damage your hair to much . A nice collor is good if your hair is all fresh and minty as far as possible
