Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
This is "poison" from Arctic Fox. I picked it because I read a lot of good reviews about Acrtic Fox hair colours. This was the first colour I tried and I am very satisfied with the outcome. The added benefit is that this hair colour is cruelty-free.
How does this hair colour make you feel?
Around this time I started feeling more confident in myself. This hair colour made me feel badass. I really really really like this hair colour on me, so I also felt/feel happy.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
We bleached my Asian dark brown hair to blond and then applied poison. The even canvas of my first ever bleach, since the other grew out, made the red very even as well.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
My favourite hair dye brand is Arctic Fox, simply because they deliver every time I use their products. I have only ever used their colours and I am afraid that if I swtich brands they won't be like Arctic Fox. Sometimes the fading bothers me a bit, but every hair colour has its problems.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Do your research! I know most of us DIY dye our hair at home, but you can realllllly mess up your hair if you don't know anything about what you are doing. I spent a lot of time on the internet looking at videos (we all know Brad Mondo) and did research on what developer I needed and how to take care of my hair etc. There are tricks when it comes to applying the bleach or hair colour and you will find them all if you spent some time on the internet before impulsively dying your hair.
