Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
It was my very first 'crazy colour', besides a light mauve but that's more a 'normal' colour. Blue is such a staple color for people who dye their hair fantasy for the first time. Also Pinterest got me!
How does this hair colour make you feel?
Like a princess? I know it sounds weird, but it's such a pretty royal colour and i felt so beautiful with it! Blue hair also looks great with practically any outfit so that's a big plus.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
never bleached before, but a very worn out red colour was in it. I did bleach it before I put the Artic Fox 'Aquamarine' in.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
I prefer Artic Fox, as it's smells pretty good and not chemical at all! With a lot of dyes the toxic chemical smell really puts me off and I have to take breaks to get some air, and with Artic Fox I don't. It's also less rough on your hair as it contains conditioner.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Don't be afraid to mess it up. If some strands are a bit too dark it gives nice streaks in it sometimes. Also use a LOT of hairmasks and argan oil to treat your hair after abusing it with all that dye.
